We are saddened to announce that our District Nurse, Gillian has recently retired after working with us for 15 years. We were honoured to have known her and it was a pleasure for all the practice to work with her over this period. She will be missed greatly but we wish her well in her new venture!
"Scottish Practice of The Year" Award
The Practice is delighted to share with you our recent achievement in being awarded “Scottish Practice of the Year”. This award recognises the outstanding work by the Practice Team and the high standard of quality care given to our patients. We are very proud and honoured to have been recognised for this award by the Royal College of General Practitioners.
We will celebrate this by having a “curry” together at our favourite Indian restaurant in March.

We are delighted to announce that from Wednesday 3rd August 2016 we will be a Training Practice. As a Training Practice we will have a Specialist GP Trainee working within the Practice. As part of their ongoing education there may be occasions when they are required to video consultatins for training purposes. Patients will be informed in advance of this occurring and if they do not wish to take part their wishes will be respected. Our Trainee is Dr Sally Reeves who will be with us until August 2017. She will see patients the same way as the other GP's. We all wish her well in her new venture and welcome her to our team at Garscadden Burn Medical Practice.
