For all information relating to COVID-19 then log onto nhs.inform, information is updated regularly.

If you have a general query about the COVID-19 vaccine, please look on the

NHS Inform Website or use the national helpline 0800 030 8013 which is open from

8am to 8pm seven days a week.

Vaccine rollout to the general public continues based on age and underlying health conditions  and will depend on vaccine supply.   Please avoid calling the Practice with any general queries about the COVID-19 vaccine look at NHS Inform website instead as we need to try and keep phone-lines open for people who are unwell and needing medical care.  Many thanks for your ongoing patience and cooperation.


PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF WHAT TO DO IF YOU SUSPECT YOU HAVE CORONAVIRUS!

If you have travelled to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea,

Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau or Italy in the previous 14 days and are

experiencing cough or fever or shortness of breath, you should to stay indoors, call your GP

or if your surgery is closed ring NHS 24 (111) informing them of your symptoms and your recent travel.

DO NOT LEAVE HOME UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN ADVICE BY A CLINICIAN 

WE HAVE HAD TO SUSPEND OUR ONLINE BOOKING OF APPOINTEMENTS FOR THE TIME BEING DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS WE TRUST YOU UNDERSTAND WHY  

If you missed the mobile breast screening unit, it is still not too late to be seen. Please phone the Breast Screening Programme on 0141 800 8800 to arrange an appointment. An x-ray examination of each breast can find cancer at an early stage before a lump can be felt by you or your doctor. If you have any questions about the Breast Screening Programme, please contact West of Scotland Breast Screening programme on 0141 800 8800 who will be happy to answer any questions you may have

Physical activity is the best medicine ever invented, and all of us in the practice are becoming more fit and active together. Have a look at our Feel Good Get Active page to keep up to date with what we are doing, and for ideas of how you can become more active too.

Our Practice Nurse, Gail Christie, is retiring on the 30th of June 2022!  We wish her all the best and thank her for her service to the Practice over the last 20 years!  We won't be replacing Gail like for like but have a Practice Pharmacist, Sandra Cahill who can help people manage their long-term conditions.
